My wife Juli had the pleasure of working with Jeannie to sell the home that we lived in for 24 years after we made the decision to downsize. Jeannie met with us well before the timeframe of when we were planning to put the house on the market. She asked a lot of great questions about our goals for the process and discussed pricing options and her strategy to market our house to find the best buyer. Jeannie listened to all our ideas and concerns and she incorporated our feedback into the plan to list the house. She hired and oversaw an excellent photographer to ensure the photos of the house and property on the various real estate web sites would truly showcase what a great home it is.
Jeannie also engaged with local agents in the Ramona area to get their insights on the market and she learned early on that we would have the best chance at getting a good price on the house if prospective buyers knew the house could be insured at a reasonable price given the risk of wildfires in Southern California. Jeannie reached out to an insurance agent contact of hers who was able to provide information on the insurability and estimated price for coverage. This made a huge difference and was a step that most real estate professionals might not have the experience or expertise to accomplish.
Once showings of the house started, Jeannie was very communicative on days and times when we should be out of the house for showings and she quickly passed on any feedback from the showings that helped us better prepare the house to get the best offer. Once we did get the offer, Jeannie was instrumental in guiding us through the negotiating process to ensure we got the price we wanted and we closed escrow ahead of schedule on the sale.
Juli and I can’t say enough positive things about our experience working with Jeannie to sell our home. She was consistently professional; timely in all communication; detail-oriented in the negotiations and all paperwork; and always an advocate for us throughout the entire process.
